I think this is a record – three posts in one day. I’m feeling like I’m coming out of the weeds after being away last weekend and catching up on posts for those anxiously awaiting!

I love my job – especially when I get to work with such warm, gracious people as Baby C’s family. Thank you guys for being so incredibly sweet to me. Can’t wait to get the rest of the photos to you!

Hey all!

I’ll be away for a couple of days at a workshop and will get to emails and inquiries as soon as I return.

Also, next week I’ll be posting details on some Christmas mini sessions. The game plan is to have a series of mini sessions back to back one morning in September as well as in October. The sessions will be done at local park. It will be a package deal – a session resulting in a CD of images. This is the perfect opportunity to get a family shot for your Christmas cards or if you are just wanting updated photos of your children/family. Details forthcoming.

Meet Miss S! She’s smart, she’s beautiful, and she’s got a bright future ahead of her. We had a great time together and I loved how she put so much great thought into our session – the perfect outfits, accessories and a beautiful location to boot. It was so fun working with you and I look forward to sharing the rest – we got a lot of fantastic shots. I promised her that I’d sneak in a peek before I headed out of town tomorrow!

I am very excited to share this sneak peek! When the Mom emailed to schedule their family session she says “I like color. I like texture.”  – those words were music to my ears! And when she goes on to say that she would be open to meeting downtown Raleigh for an urban session I was STOKED! I have been so excited at the opportunity to work downtown with a family.

Can I tell you what good sports they are? And how brave they are? And how great they were? They are all of that! Anyone who would put up with broken glass, bugs galore, running up and down side streets, and venturing over  to the park to catch some last minute golden light deserves a medal don’t you think?

What a joy to be work with sweet little ones like Miss S. If anything is gonna make you wanna have and hold a baby it’s little ones like this. And her older siblings were awesome – such the cooperative modeling subjects  – I love it. Thanks for letting me capture this special time of your lives. It was a pleasure to meet and work with your family! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

The one image of big brother and big sis with their precious baby sister is seriously one of my all time FAVORITE images. I absolutely LOVE it  – the light, the expressions, their beautiful faces, ahhhhh…

I’m really loving the look that off camera flash gives – it’s dramatic, it’s different, and it’s a lot of fun!
Oh, and I tell my clients – don’t be afraid of color! Don’t be afraid of texture! I love how it translates in an image!

You might remember Mr. R. from his newborn and 4 month old session. He is just getting cuter by the session and he did not disappoint me one bit because he was full of personality and smiles. It doesn’t get any better than this…he was so G.O.O.D. to me! Thanks Mom & Dad for working so hard with me to get some fantastic images. Here’s a few for now and I will have the rest very soon!
