{Family Session}

November 28, 2008

This is my third time having the pleasure of working with some of the members of this family. I love being able to get to know folks better as we meet for photos and seeing their children change and grow over time. I was SO glad that there were a few leaves left on the trees with color that persisted through this recent cold spell.

Hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek!!

I LOVE this fabulous bridge!!

And boy do these boys LOVE their grandparents!

Thanks again everyone – I had fun!

Hi folks!

Just wanted to give my clients a heads up… if you are planning on ordering items as Christmas gifts & want them “under the tree” for Christmas, I will need to have your order and payment in hand no later than Saturday, December 6th. All photo labs are BUSY, BUSY this time of year so I need to give them additional time to get orders to my front door and ready for your pick up.

Thanks so much!

Meet Miss H.  She is such an adorable one year old and truly a sweetheart. The smiles were not lacking from this little one and of course that is every photographers dream! :) It was great meeting you guys and I really enjoyed our session together. Hope you enjoy the sneeak peak and I’ll be in touch soon with the rest!

I really loved their back yard and I was happy we had some color left on the trees!

Have a great day!!

{sibling session}

November 18, 2008

I had another opportunity to head out to Wake Forest for a family session with these two adorable siblings. Don’t you just love their blue eyes? One of the fun things when shooting kids is just letting them be themselves as they run, play, explore, twirl and climb. I think it’s great to capture kids in the moment of being exactly who they are and letting their personalities shine through. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Have a great night!

{Mini Me Shoot}

November 16, 2008

I had a small window this afternoon after Miss J’s nap to take her to closeby park and grab a few shots in her new Matilda Jane dress. I’m glad we had a chance to get some photos in these few remaining moments of this beautiful fall color on such a mild November day. I love this new MJ dress, shirt and tights. I’ve only time for one photo edit because I want to get back to editing sessions…but I wanted to share the one photo with you!

{three month old sweetie}

November 15, 2008

Can I tell just you how much fun I had taking pictures of this little one?! She really was such a great sport to put up with all of Miss Beverly’s poses and all that tummy time I put her sweet little self through! I’ve had a couple of recent clients participate in my baby’s first year package and I can tell you now I’m gonna love seeing these little ones through the next 12 months of their lives! Don’t I have a great job??!!

I just didn’t have the heart to convert this image to black and white because you would miss all that beautiful, red hair!

I wish you could view this image matted in black because it would melt your heart. Seriously, I’m thinking about changing my blog so you can view images on black because it makes the images pop even more beautifully!

Have a great night folks!

{Family Session}

November 14, 2008

I had the privelege of working with another family to do a session and I’m so thrilled that we still had some beautiful fall leaves to enjoy and serve as a beautiful backdrop for our time together! These kids were great – from the minute they got out of their van they were ready to jump right in and get their picture taken – LOVE that! :) Mom did a fabulous job of picking out their clothes – looks like something straight from Ralph Lauren. Hope you enjoy a few of my faves!!

This one just takes my breath away… really! And I wish I could convey how fabulous this would look printed BIG and in a black frame!!!

I’m convinced he’s gonna break some hearts one day…

I just love how stunning her eyes are!

Have a great night folks!!

{Digital Packages}

November 14, 2008

I wanted to provide some product photography for the items included in my digital packages. All CD’s come packaged in a beautiful leather CD case enclosed in a fabric-lined box. The black leather brag book contains 10 wallet-sized images and a presentation box.. Both of these items are just beautiful.  Buying the digital files is a great way to go especially if you are interested in giving photos as gifts for family members. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

{Family Session}

November 12, 2008

I had the privelege of doing another family session – and we chose the most beautiful setting for our time together. It was a great night and we all had kinds of fun running, jumping, throwing leaves and exploring. I’ve been thankful for so many beautiful days these last couple of weeks – it has made for some great sessions. These guys are all so sweet and I really enjoyed working with them. Thanks for giving me this opportunity, B! :)

Okay, so how many of you moms & dads can relate? Can I get an “amen”?! Hee!!

And I think I stretched these guys a little out of their comfort zone to get some romantic shots at the end of the session… hey, but it’s worth it, right!? I really love how sweet this one is. :)

Hope you guys enjoy! And thanks Mom & Dad – It’s been great getting to know your family better these last couple of months!!

I’m so excited to share that I got the chance to photograph TWINS! Yep – that’s right – six month old twins! Meet Mr. N and Miss S. Don’t they have the most adorable faces?!?! And we had an absolutely gorgeous day and the most beautiful back yard to use for our session.

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek, Mom & Dad!

Thanks for letting me be a part of making memories for your family!! And I can’t wait to share the rest of the images! :)
