Summer…it goes fast. Way too fast. But it’s been full of fun moments with my family – pool time, popsicles, sprinklers, sparklers, slip-n-slides, the beach and so many other fun memories. What I love about summer is that it’s full of simple pleasures -  a walk through the park or a popsicle on the front porch can bring so much joy. I love it. Here are a few snaps of my summer:

And what made our summer even more eventful is my oldest started kindergarten – wowie!

I  really hope all of you enjoy the few remaining days of summer with family and friends!

And if you are thinking of booking a fall session now is not too early to contact me. I have a only a few spots still available between now and Christmas.

Take care!

I’m so excited to post this image!! I entered it into a photography contest (Valentine theme) and had no idea that there would be 500 other entries. I’m thrilled to tell you I received second place!  Doesn’t J have that award-winning smile?!? That’s my sweetie pie.

Hope you all are enjoying the snow as much as we are!!

Hey All!

Just a quick note to say Happy New Year! I’m excited about 2010 and all that it has in store! Stay tuned for new products and other exciting announcements.  I hope you all are having a wonderful start to the New Year and wishing you all the very best!

Oh, and I celebrated a birthday recently and wasn’t my family sweet to give me these beautiful flowers?!IMG_0721sm

Just wanted to drop a note to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! And “Thank You!” to all my clients for making this such a wonderful year – it’s been so great getting to know each and everyone of you! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

One of the tough things (but in the end SO worth it) is working with natural light on location. You are at the mercy of the weather. It was so rainy & dreary Saturday that my client and I decided to cancel our afternoon session. But as it were the skies opened up and the sun shone gloriously about 1 hour later…sigh…. :( SO…. to make myself feel better I packed up a couple of props along my daughter and grabbed a few shots in this little field that I’ve been eying for months. So glad I ventured out Saturday afternoon with my little girl . Enjoy!

Well, I was able to retrieve some of the files…Still working on the rest. I heard recently someone say “The days are long and the years are short”. .. It’s so hard to believe my children are now 4 & 3. Have a great night!

It is indeed a rare treat that I get a snappy shot of my kiddos and me. I’m sure all you moms can relate to the fact as the mom and primary photo taker you rarely make it into photos. :) So needless to say I love having an updated photo of my kids with me. Hope you all enjoy this beautiful weekend!

I can honestly say that time is flying faster with each and every year of my children’s lives. I cannot believe my son will be four tomorrow. Wow. A while back I heard the expression “the days are long and the years are short”. I can completely relate to this. It seems like yesterday that I held him for the first time at the hospital. I’m blessed for sure…We had an absolutely gorgeous day to celebrate and play and of course my son was thrilled that his day was filled with action heroes, Legos and Star Wars.

It’s been a few days since I posted an image so I thought I’d drop in and post one from a shot that I took yesterday. This might be the first picture in over 2 years that I have of my baby girl sleeping. Yay!

I thought January would have been much slower to do some administrative stuff and as turns out I’ve been booked with sessions (while still getting some much-needed admin details done, too). February is already booked – so if you want a session before the end of March  – now is the best time to contact me b/c I only have one available appointment for March remaining. Just give me a call or drop an email and I will get right back with you.

I’m still working on some new products and cannot wait to share them with my clients.

Have a great day!

Happy new year, folks! It’s been a little quieter on the home front for me these last couple of weeks and it’s been actually a really nice break after so much to do during the busy holiday season. I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you again everyone for your encouragement and support in 2008! It was really such a  fun year. I am really looking forward to 2009! And I am actively working on a couple of new products and trying to get samples pulled together to show folks – stayed tuned.

I’m currently booked for January and have one opening available in February. If you are hoping to secure an appointment by March, now is not too early to give me a call or drop an email for us to get something lined up on the books.

I’ve been playing around with some old images that I never edited as well as playing with some of my new images using some new toys. Here’s a couple of shots that I’ve been working on processing this week. Have a great one!

And a couple of old images that I never edited until now. I have a couple of senior sessions coming up and cannot wait to go back to this door!
