I had so much fun breaking out the lighting equipment and heading downtown. I look forward to infusing these concepts into future senior sessions.

I had to throw a few natural light shots in there to get things started…

and when we finally got rolling….

Enjoy! And if you know of any high school seniors – send them my way. I love doing senior sessions.

This is the third time I’ve worked with this family and they are a real joy. Their boys are just precious.  And like my children these brothers are close in age.  My kids are the best of friends and I know your boys will be too.   Without further adieu here is your sneak peak.

Sigh … look at those baby blues.

Mr. C just turned one last month – isn’t he a cutie pie?!

Summer…it goes fast. Way too fast. But it’s been full of fun moments with my family – pool time, popsicles, sprinklers, sparklers, slip-n-slides, the beach and so many other fun memories. What I love about summer is that it’s full of simple pleasures -  a walk through the park or a popsicle on the front porch can bring so much joy. I love it. Here are a few snaps of my summer:

And what made our summer even more eventful is my oldest started kindergarten – wowie!

I  really hope all of you enjoy the few remaining days of summer with family and friends!

And if you are thinking of booking a fall session now is not too early to contact me. I have a only a few spots still available between now and Christmas.

Take care!

This little guy melts my heart. He gives the most endearing smiles and he is an absolute joy and blessing to his Mommy and Daddy. Today we had our second session together, but first let me share one image from his 4 month session:

In the last few months he’s grown so much – sitting up like a champ, crawling and exploring the world around him. I imagine by the time we meet again he will be running and throwing footballs. He is a little sweetie.

Enjoy your sneak peek, Mom and Dad!

It’s been a whirlwind these last few weeks – trips to visit family, out of town for a photography workshop, hanging out with photog friends and getting my oldest ready to start his first day of Kindergarten in 2 weeks (I’m bound to be a blubbering mess when I take him his first day!).

Check back soon – got some really fun sessions coming up!

I went to Charlotte to visit my photog friend, Katie, and here’s a photo fave of our daughters together.

Try to stay cool, friends!

I was blown away when I saw little Sister P – she has grown up so much since I last saw her – my goodness! She is most definitely a toddler and no longer a baby – running, smiling and so full of life. Her big brother is still as cute as ever and full of personality.  Hope you enjoy your sneak peek Mom and Dad – it was so great to see you again and I had a great time with your precious children!!

What a privilege it is to work with this family – they are so sweet and they remind me how fortunate I am to do what I love.  This is our third session together and it’s been so fun seeing their two boys grow.

I’m in love with this moody shot.

I just wanna squeeze him.

And this little guy is the happiest when he is on the move – so full of joy.

Hope you enjoy the sneaky peek mom & dad!

I had three sessions last week and with all this crazy rain lately we had to postpone all three. BUT my kids didn’t seem to mind …they begged me to play in the rain so I finally relented… they were oh so happy.

Happy Memorial Day!!

Meet Baby A…what a little beauty she is. The weather has been unbelieveably hot lately and Miss A was a real trooper to hang in there on this 90 degree weather day and put up with me taking her photo! :) It’s such a pleasure to meet new families – and this time was no exception! Hope you enjoy your sneaky peek! I’ll have the rest very soon.

Meet Erica. She’s a wonderful girl. I’ve known her since she was 12 years old and, wow, I cannot believe she is about to graduate from high school – time flies! I love her style -  I believe she said her high heel collection started at age 3 . :) She is a beautiful young lady – both inside and out. We had SUCH a great time at our session – lots of laughs and fun. It was a privilege to do your senior photos, Erica. Hope you love your sneaky peek!!

All the best!
