I had such a great time meeting and working with Alicia and her family. She is bound for UNC-Chapel Hill in the fall and will officially be a Tarheel. Woohoo! We had a wonderful time at our session – she did awesome. I was thrilled that she was up for trying anything I threw her way. And boy does she have some seriously stunning eyes; and her gown…isn’t it just gorgeous!?

Wishing all the best in the future, Alicia!

Oh and don’t forget to become a fan on our Facebook page.

Another fun senior class photo shoot. Loved these images. Congrats class of 2010 and all the best in the future!

I had a blast with my nephew going downtown and doing his senior pictures when they were in town visiting. I know his parents are so proud of him – he’s a smart kid with a lot of talents and to top it off he’s got such a level head. Thanks for letting me do your senior portraits – I had so much fun!

Hey all! It’s great to be home and settled. Wanted to share a few images from our fun time in Charlotte. I would LOVE the opportunity to come back to this urban setting. These models were so fantastic!

I’m trying some new techniques in lighting. It’s crazy fun. Here are some of my first shots with this new lighting approach.

{Senior Class}

I’ve had a couple of insane weeks trying to meet some project deadlines. In the midst of the deadlines I had some fun photo ops including doing my daughter’s preschool’s photos AND getting the opportunity to meet these 15 students who are in a homeschool co-op together. What fun we had!! I really had a blast and I’m thrilled with the images that we created.

I think this one was everyone’s fave…

All the best to you guys as you move forward in life!

Meet Mr. S – he’s one great model and so at ease from the first frame! We had such a blast downtown Raleigh! Here are some of my favorite shots from our session – I realize these particular ones have the serious look – but he pulls off the serious look SO well, doesn’t he? But not to worry I did get some smiley ones too. :)

This spot was SO awesome – I adored the light. And thankfully the crew that was with me overlooked the stench and wild things we saw knowing it would be well worth it to get the shots.

Had a bunch of other favorites and I should have them ready to go soon! BTW, can’t you see why I so love my job so much!?

Have a great night!

I am so thrilled because I had yet another fun opportunity to hit the streets of downtown Raleigh for an urban senior session – woohoo! Meet Miss M – and everyone, I want you to know how awesome she did in our brutally cold conditions during our session – she was an amazing trooper through it all!! I had a great time despite cold fingers and numbness and I think she did too. :) Hope you enjoy your sneak peek and can’t wait for you to see the rest!

Don’t you just love all the vivid colors?!

I just LOVE her eyes!

One of the things that I’m actively working on are custom albums – here’s a mockup of a two-page spread that could easily be placed in an album. (Stay tuned to my blog for more details of these custom albums).

And can you believe this absolutely breathtaking sunset that we had as we finished up our session??!!

Have a great day!

Yippee! I got to hit the streets of downtown Raleigh once again for a fabulous and fun urban session with Miss A! She was great fun and we had an amazing day to work in – full of warmth & sunshine. I’m loving the images from this session – the hardest part has been to pick which ones to edit because there are so many that I like. Thanks for letting me be part of this special time in your life & capturing these memories through images.

And can you believe it – we had a beautiful forsythia bush in full bloom in the middle of January on a sidewalk downtown!?! Yay God!
