I so love living in North Carolina – how many places get such wonderful, mild days in the dead of winter?  I had a fun time with these guys  – they really are such a sweet family.  Mom tells me she has been following the blog for quite some time and I’m thrilled that now her family gets to be an official part of it! It’s no secret how much I love Matilda Jane clothing – I love the vintage feel, the fabrics, the way in which the dresses, shirts, leggings  from their line can be layered so beautifully and uniquely. The other great part is that pieces from season to season are designed to be work with each other. And boy do their outfits translate so, so well to photographs. It’s such a joy to know this family. This is my third session with them and I’m already sad thinking that we have only one more to go before little E turns one! I’m not sad that she will be one but that I won’t see them as often. But I’ve already been giving mom some photo op ideas for when the kiddos are older – think ice cream parlor, soda shop, lots of color, big fun crazy straws … SO FUN!) Baby E is such a doll baby. And her big brother is such a sweetie pie. I think they are gonna be great lifelong friends!

I was excited to head down to Charlotte and photograph beautiful Miss E! We had a wonderful time and had a such a beautiful day for our session. It wasn’t hard for her to produce a memory card full of stunning images! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek! I had fun!

I know you all remember this beautiful red-headed doll baby?! I have had the joy of taking her photos over the course of her first year of life. This session marks her being one year old! I have wanted for months now to take my  kiddos over to Duke Gardens. The last time I made the venture was about 2 years ago (all by myself)…and well… let’s just say this time proved to be more successful in getting pictures.

I just love bare feet on kids!

Meet Miss E.! We had such a fun time together at her session. She hit the ground running from the very first click of the shutter … so relaxed, poised and beautiful. Can’t wait to show you the rest!
